Why do we need to Chill Out?
Do you like being grumpy all the time? Are you a bad mood bear? Are you Cranky all the time?
Why do we sometimes wake up on the wrong side of the bed?
I know that these are awkward questions, but I know I have been there, and there is a better way!
So how do we Chill Out and Change the Bad Mood?
What if I told you there was a Magic Chill Pill that would make it all better??
What if there was a way to stop the bad moods, the frustrations, the emotions and the anger?
What if there was a way to fix up those strained relationships – would that make life better for you?
Do you want a Chill Pill?
Well, I am not sure that there is such a thing as a Magic Chill Pill… sorry!
But there is a way to stop those bad moods, temper tantrums, and emotional overwhelm!
Has that ever happened to you? What about spit the dummy, hit the roof, do your block,
Throw the toys out of the cot, do your NARNA, drop your bundle or blow a gasket???
Well I know I certainly have… Probably more than I would like to admit…
Don’t let Anger control your life
We like to make a joke about these things but sometimes I think maybe its not so funny any more…
Especially if our behaviour affects other people, like family and our kids…
When it all comes down to it – the underlying problem is ANGER – and that is not a good thing.
So – What if I told you there was a way to control the anger, and stop the bad moods every day?
The Pressure is Building Up
You see, sometimes we are a bit like a bottle of coke!
What I am talking about here is you know what it is like when we accidently drop the bottle.
We an pick it back up and all looks fine on the outside, but we all know there is an explosion about to happen…
There is not really a problem until we try to take the lid off …
And then the explosion happens. You know what I am talking about, right?
Watch out for the Anger Explosion
And when we live with anger and frustration in our lives – we are exactly like the coke bottle…
Everything seems to be ok, until something goes wrong – in other words we hit a trigger point…
And then BOOM – we have an explosion!!
Or a dummy spit, or a blow the stack, hit the roof, chuck a fruity or do your block… or whatever.
No matter what we like to call it, and no matter how we try to make it sound funny – it isn’t really.
We never know when it will happen
The trouble is, we never know when the next explosion will happen, or how big we will go off…
And when we have lived with this for a while, it becomes a bit of a habit, right?
In a strange way, it can actually feel good to vent off a bit of steam sometimes ..
But do you find that the problem just keeps coming back??
No surprises – these things can actually become a habit – especially if we live with it for a long time.
So what can we do about Anger
So I will ask again – if there was such a thing as a Chill Pill for anger management, would you be interested?
The trouble is that if anger has become a bad habit, then it takes a bit of work to fix it…
